I cleaned the board today, and figured I'd put a summation message so everyone who may
have missed something important off the say 12 messages I dumped can get it here.
Basically:
1. I mentioned that deathtoall may be an asset and I wanted input
before possibly asking him to join. After consideration of the mail I recieved and the
messages here, there was enough negative response to warrant this: He wont be approached
by us about joining. If he may want to join, he will have to ask, then we will possibly
consider again.
2. Joey apologized for not donating because instead he helped Jayle pay
off a death. Posts like this really arent necessary. I trust all of you, and constant
donation isnt necessary. Fill your own accounts first, and any help such as what Joey did
strengthens the clan much more than a donation. If we start to hurt for cash I will let
you know.
3. The vault was sold early by Jayle friday morning. No big deal
except no one knew what had happened to the contents. I will be here at reboot time to
sell the vault. If not, I will let someone know. And in any odd situation such as an
early sale, crash, etc., post it so people at least know what happened to their stuff.
4. Tiberius asked to join, was considered and accepted. His thank you
post is still on the board.
5. Wicked has posted 2 other recruits, I havent heard anything on
either. (It was in the bottom of a long post and possibly missed because of this) They
are Darian and Strife. Darian is a friend of hers from another game (tripod/solarianet).
Any info desired about Strife, mail Wicked at karissa@earthling.net.
That about sums it up. I had hoped to keep this short enough so you didnt have to see that
"Lines 1-13 : <duq>" crap, but alas, I am too wordy.

Cleaned the board again...we are a pretty talkative bunch...If I let it go as it was we
would have hit 40 posts in a day or so. Here is the summation.
1. Darian and Schmuck were recruited, Donner removed himself and came
back as Milenko.
2. Again, don't leave loose stuff in the vault, bag it. If the vault
gets too full, it gets truncated when you look so you cant see the stuff on the bottom.
Makes it pretty hard to find your stuff.
3. Watch Info leaks to others outside the clan...ESPECIALLY the
specialists. No one but us should know our business, spys can be very damaging as we
have seen in the case of Duriel and the BLW.
4. Low levels are safe from Vengeance, he is now (at time of this post)
aprox 18/18.
5. Kane would like to make a Webpage for us. He'd like pictures sent
to corydun@hotmail.com. Mudmail him with any questions/problems.
6. If you're gonna get kilt don't borrow my dicer *giggle, Poke War*
Thats about it for now. We arent top on the list right now, but we are the best clan,

I figure its about time I post something about clan policy...It makes it easier for me
rather than having to explain to any new members. So here goes:
Pk: Most know my feelings on this. I am not a PK, but am not against it either. On the
other hand I am against someone who just attacks anyone in their range. PK should be a
method of righting wrongs, not slaughter of innocents. As a member of a clan you all
have to remember that anything you do has impact on the clan. Basically what I mean is
this: I would prefer any PK'ing done by members is done for the clan...to attack enemies
only. This accomplishes a couple of things. If everyone is attacked, we make a lot of
unneccary enemies. But if we attack those that wrong us, we show that we are a strong
clan that protects its own, but also a good clan.
I know this may limit some of the targets you have, but there are plenty
enough around that we consider enemies: anoyone who has killed a member especially. also
those that have attacked members. Such as: Vengeance...killed Wicked, has attacked others.
Hades, Bright, Nexroth, Most of the Specialists, and others that I cant remember as of yet.
All are fair game in my eyes.
We also have our allies. A very large majority of the Badlands Warriors
I consder friends, and would like to keep good relations with them. D2A has said he
would not attack us, in exchange for equipping him to help kill Specialists. How long
this will last I don't know, but lets keep our part of the bargain and show that we have
some honor.
Seeing as there is all this lag and playing is hard, I may have time for more like this.

Time to do this again...sorry I let the board get full first, had a hectic few weeks,
and moving rooms didnt help
1. Cyrax and Valdesta have joined our fine clan. Welcome aboard
2. Darian has done some armour recon for us. The Armour of the Dead
is no longer vaultable, but a couple of others same armour class as lions plate have been
found: Crystal platemail off Nnanji (NPC), and Bright White Platemail out of heaven in
FF. Both are fairly hard to get, but if you do, Vault them if you can.
3. Out of all the other prospects for joining posted, No others have
gotten enough support to be really considered anymore...except maybe Manson. They were
D2A, Henry, None, Crusher and Manson. But to consider Manson anymore, he's gonna have
to show us a little better that we should invite him.
4. Bloodangel has decided to attack a member. He needs to be shown
not to do this. Kane has a License on him (although they dont work). Any help Kane
could get would be appreciated. Dirstanius constantly annoys many of us, and has been
seen working with D2A, so just ignore his constant pestering.
5. Edge and N have both confessed to trying to infiltrate our clan for
the specialists. Stay on your toes. (and show them the error of their ways if you can)
6. Darian has problems with acid, and since it didnt make the paper,
we shall all remember it here *smirk*

That time again.
This is a pretty quick one, not a lot of stuff was on the board that needed to be made
permanent, so here goes:
1. I accidentally erased summation 3 before I read what was on it

the paper and vanquishing our enemies *grin*
3. Blindness and Welchew were invited in. Welcome aboard.
We are in good shape money-wise, no need to donate to the pool for quite a while. Keep up

for anything (even to help fill your own account) let one of us 20+ levels know. Just

We're doing good on the clan list, and I'm positive the only thing keeping us from the
top is the sheer amount of gold the specilists must have (Cheating???)

We exploited a bug by putting full sacks in bags *shurg*. I have a replacement
idea...put an empty labelbag with your name on it as the last item in a sack before
dropping it in the vault...that way people can examine the sacks and see whose they are.
I havent forgotten Kane's idea about the heal me emote, just havent gotten around to it.

Since we do have a bit of cash saved up, and people are struggling to gain levels, Those
of you with bank perms can (if you desire) withdraw money to buy potions, etc. I've
been doing it, you all should be able to do too (if you havent been already)
Only consideration is that I want the bank to remain at a minimum of 1M coins, and the
pool at 500K coins. If either drop below this value, only in special cases should you
withdraw, and at that point we all need to start replenishing as we can.
Special cases being recovering from a death...bribing the secretary, etc.

I figured I'd been a while since I did this, so its probably long due. If anyone wonders
why I dont just erase things to clear the board...its because I like to see a little
history. Looking back on the board, we've been around since Nov 11 1997, pretty long
as clans go. New members can go back and see what has gone into making this clan what
it is today.
1. Welchew has a webpage with some AH and Dark Carnival info on it.
The addy is http://tom-lane.demon.co.uk. not a bad place...I'm sure it will get better
when he actually puts some DC info on the DC page (which btw he's looking for ideas)
2. Kane and Jayle learned a lesson at the hand of Jema that I thought
everyone should share. Dont idle in a non safe pub if you arent immune...and if someone
is killed, dont resurrect them if their killer is in the same room.
3. Membership issues:
a. Hector was mentioned for joining, but got little support.
b. Tiberius nined himself as an adventurer and rejoined as a
cleric
c. Screwup nined himself and will be back as a new
incarnation sometime soon
d. Cyrax decided wizzing wasnt for him, became Havatos
shortly, then disappeared
4. Duriel has asked (rather often and annoyingly) to join. Tiberius
voted No, Welchew seems undecided. Personally I think its all a ploy, but feel free to
post your feelings on the matter, I could be wrong.
5. Kane has mentioned Framingr for membership. I think Mustang
agreed...but the post disappeared. Let me know what you think, I dont know him well,
other than the fact that he is a mage.
Wicked is without a computer for a while, so you wont see her on probably. I am in New
York now, so the times I'm on are different than before, but its looking like I have
lots of time to play. Hopefully this lull in playing by everyone is just a temporary
thing. I miss ya all. Well, good gaming, I think I've wasted enough boardspace.

Okay,here's my thoughts on the current wannabe Dark Carnivals:
Framingr| I would have no real objections to him joining.I remember him from around the
time I first started here,and he seems friendly enough. (although he wouldn't tell me who
he was before his current incarnation) Still,I think we should wait for Wicked's opinions
on this one considering how long she's been 'round here.
Jema| He's killed clan members more than once,but that aside I discoved today from a
realiable source*grin* that Jema actually wants to join us with the intention of
screwing with us. He did it to the now defunct Wolfpac,and wants his turn on us. As for
the rumours that Jema stole from the Shadow Assassins (Death On Arrival),.well,it's
true,I had that confirmed today. So,I have my doubts how ~trustworthy~ he actually is.
The rumour that Jema is Vengeance is true,it's a fact! Jema has blurted this out more
than once,and at one of these times Tornado happened to be in the room. Tornado sent me
a copy of what he said through ICQ,to those of you on my ICQ list,.I'll show you what
Tornado sent me later.Anyway,what people have told me aside for the moment,I myself have
witnessed Jema admit he is Vengeance. (btw, Vengeance no longer exists,.hmmmm) So,the
question is this,..do you want Vengeance in the clan?

Justin became a wiz and had a 2nd character.His 2nd character was a pk,and he used his
pk character while a wiz,a big no no.He was dested and returned as Trolloc,a decent enough

BTW, there's some nice easy mage armour near the entrance to the dinosaur plain - from
sunken doors, s,dive,sw,w (or something), and kill the electric eel.
Please don't kill the Tyrannosaurus in that area, 'cos I'm leaving it for
tonight :)

welch:the one new area is a little north of where the giants used to be and i have heard
that this is grots area, there is no entrance, but you will notice new monsters, its to
