1] You will notice that when you die, you will loose stats even if you were resurrected (and the same number of stat points as if you had prayed). But worry not, each of those stat points will cost half as much exp to regain as they did to advance originally. You will also always loose a class level and a main level. The experience point penalty has also been substantially reduced.
2] The quest system has been altered so that quest are made up of variable point values. You still need a certain number of quest points for each level, but it is now possible to get those points by completing one or two high point value quests (at least in the early levels this is the case). In addition the difficulty of the quest should be reflected in its point values. A high fight value means you will battle many monsters; A high level value means that you must be of a particularly high level, etc.
3] If you are in combat and you type "kill monster2" you will change the monster (or player) that you are currently attacking.
Other tidbits:
- Filthy Sea [New Quest]
This is the quest 'filthy sea':
A terrible wrong has been done to the peaceful denizens of the cave under
the sea. Their quiet community by the temple has been ruined. However, in
response to their loss they plan to do something equally horrific. They
have mobilized and they seek to summon a ferocious demon with which they
hope to get their revenge. You must stop their efforts. The demon is
instatiable, and he will not stop his rampage after granting his summoners
their revenge. He plans to destroy everyone and everything in his path. You
must not allow this to happen.
This quest may require you to make multiple attempts if you do not
figure it out the first time. Go slowly, and try to avoid committing
yourself to an action before you are sure of its effects! Try to
explore and figure out any minor puzzle you may encounter instead of
just skipping ahead. You may also consider solving this quest in a
party. Although only one person will get full credit, the rest of you
will get partial credit for the quest. (You'll have to solve it again
yourself to get full credit.)
(Level 18 or higher)
This quest is required for level 23
This quest is worth : 70 quest points.

- New quest points system
Players are now awarded points for the completion of each quest. These points vary depending on
the difficulty of the quest. You will get more points for harder quests, and less points for
easier quests.
Fight points- points awarded for fighting quest creatures
Level points- points awarded based on your relative level to the quest
Think points- points awarded for completing quest puzzles
Explore points- points awarded for exploring the quest area
In some quests, you may not recieve full credit for certain points if you do not fulfill said
action (ie,
if you opt to skip fighting a creature but can still accomplish the quest, your fight points may
be reduced).
